Safeguarding

As an organisation, the Western District takes Safeguarding very seriously. Individual congregations are responsible for their own Safeguarding Policy and Measures. For District events we are working with 31:8, an independent Christian charity that supports and advises churches, charities and organisations to produce our own Safeguarding Policy both for children and vulnerable adults. If you are concerned about someone’s safety, contact the named safeguarding officer. If you don’t know who that is or feel unable to approach them, then contact Gavin Howell or call 31:8 on 0303 003 11 11. If you believe the concern is a serious emergency then call the police on 999.
